Reservations are highly recommended and on some days required.
To make a reservation, please call us at (802) 649-2922 or email us at carpenterandmain@yahoo.com. Specify what time you would like to reserve (5-9pm) and how many people in your party. Additionally, please inform us if someone in your party has allergies or dietary restrictions so that we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

If making a reservation day of, it is recommended to call before 5pm rather than sending us an email.

Come Visit Us
From Interstate 91, take exit thirteen. Turn west onto VT 10A, and continue for two-thirds of a mile into the center of the village of Norwich. Carpenter and Main is on the right, in the historic 1820 House. Directly across the street are the Norwich Inn and Dan & Whit's general store. Parking is off Carpenter St. in the gravel lot alongside and behind the restaurant.
